Knife Review

Im of the mindset that having too many weapons is simply not possible. So, I picked me up a new blade the other day, and she is a gorgeous piece. Hand made by the hands of Zach Wood and designed by one of my most cherished friends this Bowie is an instant lifer and will indeed be heading down the ranks of my family tree. Of course not without being heavily used and abused! No worries though made from 0-1 steel at a 58 Rockwell temp. Providing a slight bounce in the steel for stellar chopping, prying and baton work. My Bowie will handle anything I can throw at it or throw it at. Another beast added! Hyped!

Great belly on that blade. That is a sweet large knife for batoning wood. Not too stoked on the leather sheath though as O-1 is good high-carbon steel and will rust easily. A Kydex sheath might be better. Guns & Motorcycles ... this blog rocks!

Jens you comments lately have risen an interest in my eye. Your very clear a straight forward, offering a solid solution mixed with opinion. Please keep them coming. On the sheath I simply love leather over Kydex. I give my blades enough attention that rust isn't a concern of mine. At any rate stay up in game here as you seem to be someone that our readers and ourselves could pick a few things from.
