I hate it. It's not different here in Germany, I mean wtf? I guess no one riding a bike actually trusts his mirrors without checking by looking back, so why cant we just leave em off completely if we feel good with it? I dont get it.
In Germany it's up to the date the bike was built. Like if it has been built before 72, you need 1, if it was built before 55 it doesn't need any. If you have a 75 XS, you are fucked. i don't know the exact numbers, but it's something like that.
Just one of the many bullshit rules in germany, like we're not allowed to ride aftermarket rigid frames, we're not allowed to ride loud exhaust pipes etc. etc, the list goes on.

Can you have one mirror on your bike? Or do you need two? I only have one on the left side at the moment.
