So I've learned a lot about Davin through this "Best Tank Ever" split custody project. First, kid doesn't flake. He's been prompt and reliable in his daily duties. Second, he likes shitty Mexican beer, too. And he doesn't buy food, so he's probably a skinny little shit who survives wholly on 99 cent double cheeseburgers at McDonalds. And he, too, has way more bikes than space...
All in all, I think it's safe to say that Davin is a solid cat. We're gonna let him off the hook... 11 days of random picture emailing for no real reason other than the fact that I demanded it without reward is pretty impressive. Check him out at BloodFalcons... I've never been to Detroit, but it seems to churn out a few champs.

Jer, I found your wallride today

and burnout to boot.

TJ and the "Wagon Burner"

TJ dropped back in on his second Sporty in a year last week. I told him I would lend a hand in making it less stock than it was. I rolled it in my garage last night and here is what came out. I will round up a stock pic of it later so you can see the change. Nothing set in stone(especially the rear fender) but it looks shit tons better.

New Kids On The Block

Mysto......more to follow.

It just felt so right.....

so I went back to the old Carb, Intake, and Exhaust setup. In my opinion it looks amazing again, back to more breathing room.

Nothing feels better than new rubber.

Also made a new seat with some more kick at the back to keep my ass on the seat and not the fender.....

Upholstered with leather from BMW M3 seats, feels like butter.

...It was going so well

Pulled my nasty fork oil, swapped with some new stuff, got rid of some bounce I was getting!
Also broke out a link in my chain, changed all my fluids rebalanced my tire, bike was runnin' great!
Yup, then something in my wiring started grounding out or getting a power surge, not sure yet, have to dig in today. But I ended my night pushing my bike a half mile or so, then calling Brock and Seth for a Haul, thanks dudes!!!

Today during work

Shameless.

HD and Vice Magazine just released a quick video from the HD "Art Of Rebellion" show in NYC a few weeks back. Hold out for about 2 minutes and you can catch my drunk ass stumbling my way through my interview... retarded.
Anyway, it was rad to show with so many amazing artists --- check the full roster here.
My apologies for the shameless self promo... but my "moments" are few and far between. I gotta revel in 'em when I can, dig?

The Motorcycle Enthusiast

I was ordered to put these up..Enjoy..

Sporto Fo Sale Yo!

My buddy Gary out in Sunny California has to let his 883 sporto go. He's offering it up $3500 It's a great bike, I have ridin' it and it's solid and everything check out on it. Low miles (I dont know the exact). He started doing the basic change ups, bars, seat, all the obvious garbage pulled off. It has a great start to be a great sport! Hit him up at garys@anonoptics.com if you are interested and have any further questions about it.

Grim Cycle Salvage builds 'em, too. Here's the latest, from Bolts irritable and mad-shit-talkin' uncle, Sean. More on this scoot soon.

Like a Proud Father

About a year ago I drove out to California and picked up my buddies bike that had been sitting on his street in Silverlake CA just corroding away. He got the bike after some random circumstances came up; he loaned a buddy some money, took the bike as collateral, been sitting there ever since because in his words it was "way too gay to ride". After taking possession of said bike, I did what any good friend would do, I made it look dope. After he got it back he began to ride the shit out of it. Its like homeboy went from mild to wild in point two seconds. Its fucking awesome!

A few weeks back he somehow gets involved in this gnarly ride with Heath Kirchart and Arto Saari down south in Baja Mexico. They left last week and are currently "Mid Mission". Bill from Chopcult/Biltwell started a thread on the forum documenting their trip. I havent talked to Hime since he left but I hijacked these two pics from the thread and they made me extremely proud. Last year homeboy hadnt layed a hand on a throttle before and now he is blazing down dirt roads south of the border. I might of shed a tear when I saw this. Mad props Hime.

Attention Vintage Tread Lovers...

...this post should be of no interest to you. It's just a little too fresh-gloss-powder-coated-dual-disc-front-mag-and-non-drum-havin'-rear-mag-wrapped-in-super-sticky-new-Avons for y'all. Lame. Bikes that handle are so 1999.
