I agree with Jer 100%. After I arrived home from our Sturgis voyage work hit the afterburners. Its starting to settle and so are my body aches. Content is on the way. For now enjoy this shot of my whip as it sits, Dirt from four states.

BA's been a bit slow

With crew members down and out, some busy with work, we have been laggin' a bit on content at BoltsAction.  I mean we had a 4 day dry spell,  that hasn't happened since we launched this gig.  Well...  wont happen anymore!  Thanks for staying tuned in anyhow.

Jay Reuben.

I got an email from my boy Jay yesterday, checkin' up on me, seein' how I was healin'.
We have a bunch of friends in common, but officially met when we became family - our cute younger siblings married each other. So, Jay's a friend, first and foremost, but we're also family, I guess, in whatever way that makes us.
Anyway, he added a link to a quick little vid he'd done up from some Brianhead footy he gathered in a day, in March.
Jay rides for free, cause he loves to do it. He busts his ass building cabinets to fund his winter habits, and to drop cash on trips to the Southern Hemisphere and Hood to chase the gnar during the summer months. He's got a super good attitude, and he's hella fun to shred with. He's movin' to SLC this winter, so I'm lookin' forward to gettin' more shred time with him. Keep an eye out for him - cool cat, killin' it, and he'll for sure have some crazy gangsta' kit, cause that's his steez. This kid's legit, and I thought he deserved a little shout out.
Check it:
Oh... and if you need to hire someone in the SLC area, lemme know - Jay's gonna need a job once he gets up here.

Blown Parts

So I am always on a schedule it seems, I never really have the "yeah sure another day", or the "Lets add on a week and cruise to some bike show, etc..".  SO when my crap goes bad its, hammer time to figure out the plan.  This particular incident dropped my bike in a U-Haul heddin SLC bound for a overhaul in my garage.

Because of this blasted beast burnin' up my bike ran on the battery only for 650 miles.  Voltage reg. is smoked too!
Home for 800 miles. wah! wah!
This is just to salt the wounds when a bike is down. "oh i fixed it!  woop's, its 2 am on the freeway and i have no headlight"  yah
I truly love these journeys, they never fail to offer craziness!!

Hood Jam , Crew still intact

Sturgis Voyage Quick Stats

Nine Balls: Everywhere
Baggers: Outnumber Everything
Rain: Clocked about 200 miles in this shit
Hail: 20 miles in that
HD Target consumer: 99.9% of the people here
Percentage that wear HD gear head to toe: 100% of the 99.9%
MT Rushmore: Looks way cooler on TV
Old Faithful: Also looks way cooler on TV
Riding: Still fun no matter where we are at.

I've got about 50 minutes of video, so be on the lookout for a sweet
edit next week.

So funny, this is the spot to come to if you want to see every stock
bike, in every factory color, that has ever rolled out of the MoCo
factory. None of these fuck yards can think for themselves. Stoops.

Blood and Crips.

* * * * * * * *
Rookie and his girl rolled down this morning to drop off a get-well gift, and to pick up his laptop and a get-well gift we had for him.  Heidi took the opportunity to snap a shot of the trip that crippled us both... for a minute, anyway.  Bolts Action slings should probably be next on the merch list?

Location: Idaho Falls

Stopped for lunch at one of my fav spots that don't exist in SLC.
Trying to hunt down a part for Chris's Softail, his starter blew up
this morning. Looks like we are going to be pushing this bitch.

Countdown

About 20 hours from now we will embark on our Black Hills mission. CPB
has his softail ready to roll and my Pops is en route from AZ. I am
using today to button up a few last minute things: New rear tire, oil
change, new set of bars, re solder a few sketchy wires, weld up my
paper thin rear fender, and do a once over on evrything else. Should
be no problemo. This trip is going to be a mission for sure.
BoltsAction will be covering the event. If you are going to be in
Sturgis with your chopped quad cam then let's go for a rip!

Bad photo

That's my broken bike in the back of Foxie's truck. It broke down on
our way to swim in a lake. I should have it fixed later this
afternoon. I smoked a battery in only 2500 miles, I think Im
runnin' to small a one for the bike, oh well, it looks tight!
's!

Seths Solo

Seth hit the road yesterday back towards SLC. He's rollin' solo,
Rookie broke his collar bone shreddin' yesterday, so he's hoping a
plane this morning. Me and JP are kickin it camper kid style for
another few days. Then me and Tonino start our jam
Home. Here's a screen grab of a text that Seth sent me this morning.
